As I really enjoy messing around on Photoshop CS5, I did this to my friends. I took a normal image and completely coloured them in. In my opinion, they look like a cross between a Clown and Smurfs. I created this by taking a simple image in the studio. I first turned the image black and white so the colours don't majorly influence the changes I make. To add the colours I first used the Quick Selection Tool, highlighting the hair on both of the models. I indended to add a red-orange colour, however it came out quite green on the model on the lefts hair. On the next layer I highlighted the eyes, eyebrows, ears and mouth. I added purple and red to these areas to give an alien kind of look. On the fifth layer, I highlighted the rest of their faces. I made the boy blue and the girl green. On the next layer, I highlighted the girls hands and the boys jacket. I made both of these red, however the girls left hand came out a bit darker then I had hope. On the next three layers, I selected the rest of their clothes adding in bright and bold colours. Finally, I finished off on the tenth layer by whitening their teeth to make them stand out more. I feel the final result is average, as I had more fun then trying to make a serious piece.
